Follow-up Comment #45, bug #49053 (project octave):
Another patch update to try and address all the coding standard rigmarole.
BTW, the 80 character limit is violated all over the place in the code (that I
didn't write) and I personally hate that arbitrary limit dictated by 30 year
old hardware. Especially in C++ where something like "octave::math::round"
takes up 25% of that and indentation I have no control over takes up as much
as another 10% of the 80 character. This leaves coders with the option of
making less-than-descriptive variable names or spreading across 8 lines what
could have been fit on a single line. </end_rant>
