Follow-up Comment #59, bug #49053 (project octave):

@mweitzel: which version of FLTK are you using? With FLTK 1.3.4 I have proper
scaling on macOS with HiDPI. 

However, when calling the FLTK backend from the GUI I get a "error: unexpected
exception while parsing input". I am currently checking if this is a
side-effect from the patch or an unrelated issue of my system.
