Follow-up Comment #62, bug #49053 (project octave):

@sschoeps I'm using FLTK 1.3.4, as well. According to [*] the correct
rendering on macOS is due to the fact that the retina display wraps the
original rendering commands autmatically to the higher resolution (if I
understood correcly)
