Follow-up Comment #12, bug #52940 (project octave):
It just occurred to me that I should check if FLTK consistently produces a
centered plot. It appears to:
octave:1> graphics_toolkit fltk
octave:2> tst_paperpos
viewport = 0 0 720 396
octave:3> tst_paperpos
viewport = 0 0 720 396
octave:4> close all
octave:5> graphics_toolkit qt
octave:6> tst_paperpos
viewport = 0 0 720 396
octave:7> tst_paperpos
viewport = 0 0 720 485
The last Qt toolkit plot is the one that is shifted upward.
