Update of bug #53503 (project octave): Status: Need Info => Wont Fix Open/Closed: Open => Closed _______________________________________________________ Follow-up Comment #3: Agree with Mike. It is quite simple to use mathematical formulas to calculate the logarithm with respect to any base. In addition, the name 'logm' is already reserved for the logarithm of a matrix, not the logarithm with respect to base m. Just because this won't be inmplemented in core Octave doesn't mean you can't keep it in your own library of functions. See comment #2 and Dildar's m-file for an example of such a function.
