Follow-up Comment #6, bug #54399 (project octave):

In the original submission, it was the real nonsymmetric case to fail, in
comment #4 it is the complex case. Dmitri, can you find reproducible (no
random) examples? I remind you that they should have size larger than 8
(otherwise, eig is called).

For me it works with openblas 0.2.8, atlas 3.10.1, ref blas and arpack 3.3.0.
