Follow-up Comment #22, bug #40111 (project octave):
I think that the logic for JAVA_HOME being not set or empty was working
correctly in Andrew's original patch. I must have messed up when I tried to
streamline the patch for including the logic for Windows. Sorry.
I won't be close to a PC during the next week. But I hope the issues won't be
too hard to resolve or can wait until later.
