Follow-up Comment #7, bug #54607 (project octave):

@Torsten: I tried to use 'hg backout' to reverse the original changeset but
too much has changed and I found I couldn't figure out which bits of code to
keep during the 3-way merge.  I think the original changeset will have to be
reversed manually.
