Follow-up Comment #32, bug #54622 (project octave):

"The NaN is not processed as expected" meaning that dlmread, although handling
+/-Inf, doesn't handle the NaN, so it is the second pass that Rik pointed out
which catches the NaN.  In other words, neither of those two are working quite
right.
