Follow-up Comment #130, bug #49053 (project octave):
I applied this patch on hg id f7ef179096ee and cross-compiled for Windows with
and without the patch.
I didn't notice any difference when dragging the main window or a figure
window from a HiDPI screen to a screen with "normal" DPI and back. Both
versions display fine.
Sometimes I need to resize the figure window by a tiny amount to get the axes
to adapt to the new window size. But that is not always reproducible.
To sum it up: The patch doesn't break anything for Windows.
