Follow-up Comment #148, bug #49053 (project octave):
Ok. After more experimenting ... the buttondownfcn works for all objects, but
the location/size of the objects detected by buttondownfcn is not the same as
what is displayed. I'm attaching a rough estimate of the location of the axes
associated with the buttondownfcn. The magenta box is the area where the
buttondownfcn thinks the axes is located.
