Follow-up Comment #16, bug #42735 (project octave):

On this tracker, I did not find a corresponding report for the precedence
issue with classdef.

@cbm: Can you open another report with a short example demonstrating what
works, what not, and what works in Matlab, including a reference to this
item?
Otherwise, my lazy approach was to wait until a user needing this feature
complains, what is likely to happen ;-)
