@Dan: Thanks for the comments.
comment #13: The uniqueness, regardless analyzing the filename in the dbstatus
case (commenct #14), is given by passing object pointer and slot to the worker
thread. By this, the signal is only connected to this unique caller.
comment #15: By omitting the function name I intended to avoid ambiguities in
the filename/function relation by subfunctions etc.
