Follow-up Comment #7, bug #48273 (project octave):
I can reproduce this bug with the --no-gui-libs option, so it has nothing to
do with a race condition. Instead, it looks like it only has to do with
drawnow being called after each subplot.
So there is no race condition involved here. Can I retitle to something like
"Several subplots sometimes lead to corrupted axes position"?
