Follow-up Comment #2, bug #54862 (project octave):

@jwe: I'd use "__octave_link_enabled__ ()" which is false in --no-gui-libs
only. On the other hand, it would be very useful to have a way to test the qt
toolkit in single threaded mode, but it is probably another matter.
