Follow-up Comment #1, bug #54961 (project octave):

After some investigations, if we add the following arg "actimeo=0" to our
mount.cifs command, that behaviour doesn't happen any more. But that disables
completely files and dirs attribute cache ... which is not acceptable (e.g.
some quick test demonstrates that some operations to become more than 8 times
slower).
