[Octave-bug-tracker] [bug #55029] pause causes hang

Follow-up Comment #3, bug #55029 (project octave):

I can (kind of) reproduce the problem. 

After pause octave suspends, and I need to hit Ctrl-C to return to
octave prompt.

./run-octave -qf
octave:1> pause
x
y
z
^C
octave:1> __octave_config_info__ ("hg_id")
ans = 32d4ee071348




Version 4.4.1

__octave_config_info__ ("hg_id")
ans = 658153e1976d

 works fine on the same computer.
