Follow-up Comment #4, bug #55072 (project octave):
printf is one of the most obscure commands. The Octave Manual
has been somewhat improved, but there is an obvious
ambiguity. In Section 14.2.4 Formatted Output the phrase appears:
"See the Formatted Output section of the GNU Octave manual for a complete
descrip-
tion of the syntax of the template string."
"GNU Octave manual" should be replaced by "GNU Manual". Maybe even include:
