Follow-up Comment #3, bug #55059 (project octave):

I have had a look at this patch (file #45499):
* You could add some spaces after the function call brackets. For example
after "strcmp" or after "class" in the newly added code.

In general, the approach looks fine to me. Since this fix only improves test
code and not the "real" function code, I think it could go to the stable
branch.
