Follow-up Comment #3, bug #55654 (project octave): Thanks for the feedbacks. I indeed use NVIDIA drivers on Linux - is there a way to easily test without? I tried on WIndows and couldn't reproduce the bug at first either. But you will notice that resizing the window horizontally is rather smooth, while vertically is quite jiggly (I think mainly due to the redrawing of the 'coordinates' lower bar of the figure) and if you try long enough you will at some point observe the same issue that the image is empty.
