Follow-up Comment #11, bug #42136 (project octave):
I tested on Fedora 29, see attached screenshot.
* alignment is much improved.
* sqrt slash characters are still missing :(
I also tested on Win 10: traditionally unicode stuff is broken there it seems
this is improving!
* the alignment is poor.
* sqrt slash chars are present.
The missing slash characters is rather serious for Symbolic. Maybe GNU/Linux
users mostly don't use the GUI...
