Follow-up Comment #6, bug #55859 (project octave):
The multiplicity number should be above and to the right of the pole or zero
marker. That was the point of using the superscript operator.
But I've since learned that Matlab adds the marker as a plain number, and uses
the position and verticalalignment properties to make it appear above and to
the right of the marker.
