Follow-up Comment #69, bug #52475 (project octave):
jwe, thanks for testing.
the current implementation of __ode15__
can only work with sparse jacobian if sundials
is built with KLU support.
from the errors you show I think your sundials
installations are without klu support as for comment #62.
On the other hand I think the autoconf logic
should either
1) disable the sparse jacobian feature if
klu is missing instead of trying to detect klu and
sparse matrix support separately
2) disable sundials alltogether if it does not
have all required features
