Follow-up Comment #5, bug #55937 (project octave):

Thank you. My intent is to make sure Octave 6 configures and builds cleanly
even if the user has sundials 2 installed, which means we need to account for
that case and properly disable everything, including overlinking the sundials
libraries. I also plan on fixing that last part on stable (the '__ode15__.oct'
file should not be linked with -lsundials libs if HAVE_SUNDIALS is not set).
