Follow-up Comment #28, bug #42136 (project octave):
Basically it's whichever 'python' is first in your PATH by default. But the
PYTHON environment variable is supported, so you can set that to a different
name or to a full path to the executable if you need to.
If you can add notes to

that would be most welcome.
The fastest way to see this bug is to just use file #31199, file #31200, and
file #31201 Colin attached here, they're just copy-pasted unicode text
originally from SymPy.
