Follow-up Comment #7, bug #55939 (project octave):
Can the issue report be re-titled to reflect the root problem? I can't tell
if it is str2num which needs to change, by adding a try statement, or whether
eval needs to change. In particular, I couldn't decide what comment #4
meant.
it indeed stops on the 'eval' after a 'dbstop if error'
in Matlab 2007b and 2013a it does not stop and just returns 1
Does that mean that eval with 1-argument stops, but eval with 2-arguments does
not?
