Follow-up Comment #13:

I have a fix for this, testing with SUNDIALS 2.7, 3.1 without
-I/usr/include/suitesparse, 3.1 *with* -I/usr/include/suitesparse, and 4.1.

Now I'm just trying to clean up redundant warning messages for various
SUNDIALS failures.

This is all on default, Octave 5.1 is not affected by this task, nothing here
is holding up 5.2.
