Follow-up Comment #4, bug #56874 (project octave):
being quite illiterate in numerics, I wonder why
x'*y / sqrt(x'*x*y'*y) <= 1
corr(x, y) <= 1
gives a correct answer in the first and an incorrect one in the second case.
So why not use the first formula as a definition of corr?
