Follow-up Comment #4, bug #56941 (project octave):

Fine to separate rat/rats if desired.  I assume that Matlab's "format rat"
uses rat() or rats() internally which is why I put them together.

Cusp of switchover in Matlab is 1e-6.  This produces asterisks but 1e-5 does
not.


y = [1e-6, 1e-6]
y = [       *         *       ];
