Follow-up Comment #19, bug #57083 (project octave):
Good to hear you are making progress.
"dir_in_loadpath" doesn't work anyway: It returns any absolute path whether it
is in the load path or not, as long as it exists in the file system.
I wonder where this behaviour is useful... and rather different from what one
might expect from its name.
