Follow-up Comment #2, bug #57392 (project octave): Help! Does anyone know if this error (see comment #0) is due to an INTENTIONAL change in core Octave? If yes, what is the actual change? What are the new "rules" for anonymous functions? If not, the bug title should maybe be adapted to mark it as a regression bug of core Octave (instead of a bug in the image package as it is labelled now). And it might be fixed before the upcoming new Octave 6 release. I would very much appreciate any hint in this respect.
