Update of bug #57794 (project octave):
Status: None => Confirmed
Release: 5.1.0 => dev
Summary: cart2sph output size is incompatible with matlab
depending number of outputs => cart2sph, sph2cart: output argument should not
change behavior with different nargout

Follow-up Comment #1:
Confirmed, the positional output arguments should remain the same no matter
how many output arguments the function is called with.
The same applies to the inverse function sph2cart.
The current behavior does match the help text, but it doesn't matter because
it's going to change anyway.
