I have been on other languages for several days, but yesterday I installed
Octave 5.2.0 (octave-5.2.0_1-w64.zip) and started using link to octave.vbs:
GNU Octave, version 5.2.0
Copyright (C) 2020 John W. Eaton and others.
...
Octave was configured for "x86_64-w64-mingw32".
...
>> system("sh")
sh-4.4$ ls
Segmentation fault
sh-4.4$
and:
C:\Octave\octave-5.2.0-w64\usr\bin>sh
sh-4.4$ ls
Segmentation fault
sh-4.4$
So the problem is not solved for me.
