Follow-up Comment #8, bug #57872 (project octave):
@Anonymous: In the sequence posted in comment #7, does Octave return
"Executing mex file" if you stay within the same Octave session that you used
to compile the mex file with? Or does it work if you quit and restart
Octave?
This may be something extremely simple like re-hashing of the PATH after the
compilation so that Octave sees there is a new compiled mex file.
