Follow-up Comment #2:

Torsten, I was interested in this patch.

I can reproduce the issue with Octave 5.2.0 / 6.0.1 / 7.0.0 build on an
openSUSE 15.1 system.  This issue I noticed in older versions of Octave and
openSUSE, too.

When using an Octave 5.2.0 build based on Ubuntu 18.04, this issue is not
reproducible.
