Follow-up Comment #8:

I think the problem is with ftell.

Can you download and run the attached tst_58055_2.m which makes use of
dummy.txt?  Just upload the results as before.

And for confirmation, can you download and run tst_58055_3.m which also
requires downloading dummy3.txt.
