Follow-up Comment #47, bug #57635 (project octave):

@Philip: TNX. That would have been my next step to see if a fix comes with a
higher Qt version. 5.14 is very new.

Now i have built Octave also against a fresh (local) build of Qt 5.13.2. The
problem shows up. So it is not caused by the pre-build package that comes with
the distro. The switch between 5.12.8 / 5.13.2 is the only difference that
remains.

@Torsten: That is weird.
