Follow-up Comment #28, bug #42242 (project octave):
I have this problem, running on Ubuntu right now. I'm connecting to a NAS
over NFS. Making changes to a script means I just shut down Octave and
restart it. It's frustrating.
Matlab is working fine, but the conditions are not the same. I'm running
Matlab in Windows 10 on another computer and not using NFS.
If you'd like more information, just ask.
