Follow-up Comment #5, bug #56944 (project octave):

Anyone who's interested: I'm working on new icon art for the Octave.app Mac
app that I think fixes this problem. Want to come by the GitHub issue at
https://github.com/octave-app/octave-app/issues/177 and comment on it before I
roll it into an Octave.app release?
