Follow-up Comment #88, bug #57635 (project octave):

I have really forgotten to include the changes for fixing the issues where the
auto completion list is not involved. The attached patch v03 now includes this
and should also handle the case where the auto completion list is
automatically hidden when the entered character is not matching anymore.
