Update of bug #58814 (project octave):
Status: None => Confirmed

Follow-up Comment #1:
Confirmed. This worked if I used run-octave from a build directory, but
failed if I installed Octave and then called the resulting installed binary.
I named the file tst_segfault.m and called with
octave-7.0.0 -f tst_segfault.m
The -f switch was to make sure there were no local customizations which might
be interfering.
