Follow-up Comment #17, bug #49503 (project octave):
The issue with a build-octave target is that either you have to assume that
all the dependancies of octave are on the native system before building, or
you have to build native versions of whatever is needed as build-xxxx rules.
We could check for files existing using mkoctfile -p FCNFILEDIR to get the
path that could eliminate the need to use octave
Not as easy as calling octave to do it though.
