Follow-up Comment #29, bug #49503 (project octave):

At a look at packages I have locally on my computer, others that currently use
it:

windows package uses it to check for the winqueryreg function

sparsersb

optiminterp checks for it but doesnt use it

mapping checks for deg2rad functions

communications detects it but doesnt appear to use it
