Follow-up Comment #1, bug #59172 (project octave):
Since the crash occurred in libarpack, the error you saw on compilation might
be related.
There is a patch in MXE Octave that cherry-picks some changes from the
ARPACK-NG development branch:
https://hg.octave.org/mxe-octave/file/tip/src/arpack-1-gcc10.patch
I was happy when the buildbot built successfully with these changes. That
buildbot doesn't run the test suite. So I don't know if it actually works.
Could you check if that patch fixes the issue for you?
