Follow-up Comment #25, bug #59149 (project octave):
Okay, this is what happens on my machine:
With "-O3" the error is present,
with "-O3 -ffast-math" it disappears,
with "-O2 -ffast-math" it also disappears,
with "-O1 -ffast-math" it also disappears,
with "-ffast-math" it is present again.
