Follow-up Comment #2, bug #59173 (project octave):

Hey, at least it doesn't report something with "/home/jwe/..." now!  :-)

More generally, it would be great to find and replace "/scratch/build/..."
wherever we can with the directories that are appropriate for location on the
system where Octave is installed and running, not where it was built.  This
instance in mkoctfile is probably not the only place where this error occurs.
