Follow-up Comment #4, bug #59174 (project octave):
The attached patch changes the default value for "link-all-dependencies" on
MacOS from "disabled" to "enabled". The default for all other target platforms
is still "disabled".
It would be nice if someone who understands how linking on MacOS is supposed
to work could check if this is the correct thing to do. Does that switch lead
to avoidable overlinking? Bug #41574 might be relevant.
