Follow-up Comment #3, bug #59444 (project octave): OK, great. As to nitty-gritty, note that Matlab's referenceSphere.m returns an empty LengthUnit field in case of no input args, where referenceEllipsoid.m always returns a default value (meter). If you make referenceSphere.m a wrapper such details are easily catched. An amended referenceEllipsoid.m with "Unit Sphere" entry is already attached (not extensively tested). Yeah classdef - I'll probably change to that only after classdef objects can be saved to .mat files. Thank you.
