Follow-up Comment #1, bug #59718 (project octave):
I would not define a sparse classdef object. Instead, this problem needs to
be fixed in the Octave internals. We probably also want to rethink the way
that broadcasting is implemented generally. I believe there are better ways
that we could use templates instead of what we currently have.
