Follow-up Comment #14, bug #60058 (project octave): Ernst, it is out of reach of Octave, what a Java vendor might decide to return for each of these components. Will `jversion` always start with some combination of dots and digits? I don't know. *You* are free to decide what you would like to parse and how.
